The breast cancer treatment journey can be overwhelming, from diagnosis through treatment. Pink Ribbon Connection is helping give breast cancer patients the support they need through Peer Counseling. Peer counselors provide breast cancer patients with a sympathetic ear, support and information from the perspective of someone who's been there. All breast cancer survivors who have been out of treatment for one year or more are invited to come learn how to be a peer counselor. Pink Ribbon Connection partners with other organizations to host local peer counselor trainings led by Dr. Christine Ward, Psychologist. Light dinner is provided.
Please email info@PinkRibbonConnection.org or call 317-255-PINK (7465) if you have any questions.
Peer Counselor Training
was held and led by Dr. Christine Ward, Psychologist and she was joined by Phyllis Shea, ABSNP, NCSP. We are happy to have six new Peer Counselors who are ready and prepared to assist anyone who would like to be contacted by one. We have a large number of Peer Counselors all over the state. Just call the office or complete the request form on this page if you would like to speak with one.
Thank you to Dr. Ward and Phyllis Shea!
